Gerret Springer is Managing Director and founder of the company and is based in Mt Gambier. Gerret has experience in a wide range of managerial roles in small and large businesses including green field start-up as technical manager, project manager, production manager, site manager with multiple sites and international sales and marketing manager. He has business experience in the timber and prefabricated housing industry in Europe, North America and Australasia. Gerret holds a masters degree as Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl-Ing) in Wood and Fibre Engineering from the Technical University Dresden, Germany and published his post graduate work undertaken at the University of New Brunswick, Canada. Gerret is a Graduate of the International Programme of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).

Adrian Hatch as a shareholder of Waddamana Forestry, an associated company of International Timber Solutions, is the point of contact for Log Export and Forest Operations. Adrian is a professional Forester with a Degree (Melbourne University) and Diploma in Forest Science, based near Melbourne in Australia. He has held a number of senior roles in the private and public sectors both in Australia and overseas. This has included roles in forest management, processing and export of log and timber products.

Jessie Zhao is the Company Accountant and is based in Mt Gambier. Jessie has been in financial accounting in logistics roles and community organisations in Adelaide before moving to Mt Gambier in 2014. Jessie has a Bachelor Degree of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide, Certificate III in Business, and is studying towards CPA.

Justin Dawson joined International Timber Solutions as General Manager of our New Zealand operations in March 2020. He is based in Napier and is responsible for all supply from New Zealand. Justin has extensive experience across various segments of the timber industry, including sawmilling, processing and sales. He has close to 20 years’ experience in Sales and General manager roles. Justin prides himself on being able to find the right balance between the needs of the supplier and the customer, identifying the best solution for both. Justin believes that transparency and open communication are key to ensuring long-term, sustainable relationships. Justin holds a National Certificate in Solid Wood Processing.
